Owaka Garden Cottage

Owaka Garden Cottage is a three bedroom country cottage accommodation in the Catlins. The cottage accommodation comprises of three bedrooms, two Queen and one twin, lounge, kitchen and separate TV room with video and DVD. Set in a one acre of fenced garden, the garden cottage accommodation is perfect for a safe family getaway. All our beds have cotton linen and goose down duvets for warmth and comfort. Central heating is run off an efficient coal burning range and is backed by electric heaters. There is ample electrically heated hot water for a relaxing bath. There is also a terraced verandah out front complete with Barbeque.

The Catlins

The Catlins coastline situated in the center of the Southern Scenic Route; with the the little town of Owaka right at the heart of The Catlins countryside. The Catlins is one of the most remote and diverse stretches of coastline, being both rugged and spectacularly beautiful. It has it all with hidden coves, white sandy beaches, lighthouses, shipwrecks, Sea Lions, Hector dolphins, penguins and ancient podocarp forest and much Maori and European history.
